ML 42 Counter Stool
In 1942 Mogens Lassen designed the Stool ML42 as a piece for a furniture exhibition held at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art. He took inspiration from the stools used by the shoemakers of the past, and transferred the light, elegant look to the creation of this sculptural three-legged stool. The Stool ML42 is considered a collector’s item by international design connoisseurs.

Black Stained Beech
Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected. Black-stained solid beech with an oiled finish has undergone a staining process, resulting in a black surface to alter the natural colour of the wood. Oil is then applied to provide a smooth surface and a subtle sheen, adding a layer of protection against wear and moisture.

Brown Oiled Oak
Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected.
The natural appearance of oak wood is enhanced with a dark oil-based stain. Giving a richer and darker appearance while still allowing the inherent wood grain patterns to shine through, the staining emphasises the natural beauty of oak. The stain also helps to repel moisture, dust and minor scratches.

Soap Treated Oak
Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected.
Soap-treated solid oak is treated with a soap solution for a light, natural and untreated appearance. Giving a light and pale colour to the oak wood, preserving its natural look, it helps to maintain the wood's original grain pattern. Soap-treated solid oak is more susceptible to water and stain damage compared to some other finishes. Regular maintenance, such as reapplying soap treatment, may be needed to preserve the appearance and protective qualities.
