Ready Dining Chair

The result of a study of the possibilities of form-pressing techniques, Ready Chair, created for Audo by Matias Møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen, takes its cues from classic free-swing chair designs, its cantilevered seat and backrest appearing as if suspended on air. Available in oak veneer, it comes with a natural or red stained oak finish and with the option of an upholstered seat and back. Perfectly sized for use as a dining chair, its stackable design and row-connecting feature make it equally suited to a multitude of other uses.

The Ready Dining Chair can be stacked with 10 chairs with and without the Row Connection.

Black Stained Oak

Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected. Black-painted solid oak with an oiled finish has undergone a painting process, resulting in a black surface to alter the natural colour of the wood, without masking the natural veining. Matte varnish is then applied to provide a smooth, non-reflective surface, adding a layer of protection against wear and moisture and preserving the colour and texture of the black-painted oak.

Red Stained Oak

Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected.

Red-stained oak veneer with lacquer is constructed with a core material covered with a thin layer of oak veneer which has undergone a staining process, resulting in a red nuanced surface to alter the natural colour of the wood. Varnish is then applied to enhance and protect the appearance.

Natural Oak

Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected.

Lacquered oak veneer is a thin layer of oak wood that has been treated with a varnish for a long-lasting, easy-care finish. Displaying the same colour and distinctive grain patterns as its solid counterpart, the varnished finish enhances these natural characteristics, bringing out the depth and beauty of the wood and providing a beautiful sheen.
