Mauro Dining Chair
Mauro Dining Chair
- Solid wood frame with form-pressed veneer back and seat.
- Optional leather or textile seat cushion.
- Stackable up to six free-standing or 12 with Audo’s chair stacking trolley.
Mauro Dining Chair draws on the relaxed atmosphere of Italian dining spaces, interpreted through a Danish approach to form and material. The handwoven paper cord seat introduces tactility to the solid wood frame, which features a veneer seat and angled backrest to support the body. Stackable and available with glides suited to different floor types, the versatile chair moves easily between settings. Designed by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, the new Mauro seating series is shaped through the atmosphere of Italian trattorias and interpreted through the tenets of Danish design.
Mauro is offered in a range of oak-based finishes, including natural and stained, and with an optional seat cushion in either leather or textile to allow the chair to shift in expression while maintaining its balanced, understated character.

Natural Oak
Please note: as each sample is crafted from natural wood, variations in colour and grain are to be expected.
Lacquered oak veneer is a thin layer of oak wood that has been treated with a varnish for a long-lasting, easy-care finish. Displaying the same colour and distinctive grain patterns as its solid counterpart, the varnished finish enhances these natural characteristics, bringing out the depth and beauty of the wood and providing a beautiful sheen.

Dark-stained oak veneer with lacquer is constructed with a core material covered with a thin layer of oak veneer which has undergone a staining process, resulting in a dark surface to alter the natural colour of the wood. Varnish is then applied to enhance and protect the appearance.

Black-stained oak veneer with PU lacquer is constructed with a core material covered by a thin layer of oak veneer, which has undergone a staining process, resulting in a dark surface that alters the natural color of the wood. The veins of the wood are subtly visible through the polyurethane lacquer, adding a nuanced and textured dimension to the smooth and glossy finish of the surface.

Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen
The Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen creates furniture and interior objects for clients across the world. Founded in 2016 by Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer, their honest approach to design results in logical, functional and sculptural objects that showcase their strong cultural understanding and Danish design heritage to bridge the gap between art and design. Krøyer-Sætter Lassen began their collaboration at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, where they have graduated with their BA and subsequently, an MA. Their collaboration has grown from a give-and-take about art and design into the creation of existing projects. The duo recognizes their differences and strengths allowing them to approach their process from different character angles. Krøyer-Sætter Lassen engages each other to seek new materials and perspectives in order to work in a nicety way. Krøyer and Sætter-Lassen's honest focus is revealed through their consideration of material properties and tectonic details. They prefer to make the conscious choice of turning a joint or assembly into a visible design asset instead of concealing it -keeping true to the industrial way.
