FLEMMING LASSEN’S SCULPTURAL CLASSIC, REINTERPRETED FOR TODAY

Audo’s special edition of The Tired Man provides a new generation of design lovers with a modern take on Lassen’s original: complementing its classic shape with a thoughtful, new tactility. The sculptural chair is now fully-upholstered in a refined, white Baena by renowned Italian textile maker Limonta. Dark-stained oak legs contrast the crisp white to create a sophisticated piece that is deeply comfortable and attuned to contemporary spaces.

For nearly a century, The Tired Man has epitomised Danish craft and
comfort. While emblematic of its origins, the chair expresses timeless ideals of simplicity, elegance, and versatility that resonate today. Audo’s reimaged edition respectfully continues Lassen’s vision, connecting the past with the present and proving that great design is not bound by time.

CLASSIC MEETS CONTEMPORARY

Through Everyday Icons, the past effortlessly coexists with the present. Thisreimagined version of The Tired Man chair harmonises with two contemporary designs: Danielle Siggerud’s Androgyne Side Table in dark-stained oak, and Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen’s The Torso Portable Table Lamp in black. The trio expresses a shared colour palette that is equally striking and simple.
